Cigarette butts can reduce harm to smokers when smoking but are easily discarded by them after a single use, thus losing value as an object. The artist collected them and went through a process of disinfecting, bonding and coating the objects to preserve their original quality.

These meticulously preserve cigarette butts reflect the condition of Jalan Cempaka 16, functioning as a condition report for the street. The process of collecting and documenting them provides the artist with a means to engage the locals, and amplifying the impact of their habit.
